The GoreVorgg is a Cat L Akrid and a subspecies of the Vorgg. It attacks with its two massive claws and also tries to ram its enemies. Its outer shell is impenetrable to all forms of damage and only its underbelly holds the Akrid's core weakpoint.
The GoreVorgg is introduced as a side quest and boss battle when it is announced at the Coronis base that a unique, giant Vorgg is terrorizing the mining operations. It is encountered near the main mining ground of the map near Bailey's Crossing.
It is engaged and killed by Jim Peyton using the RIG.

- Killing the GoreVorgg will get the player the "The King is Dead" Achievement/Trophy.
- After killing the GoreVorgg, anytime the player goes to the fight location, a Vorgg will be there.
